Also known as Acqua di S.M. Novella, Acqua della Regina (the Queen's Water) celebrates the perfume that Caterina di Medici commissioned to Renato Bianco, (raised by the Santa Maria Novella Dominican friars), to create as her bridal gift, which she took with her to France when she married Enrico di Valois.
With Italian citruses, petigrain, neroli, and lavender, it offers a fresh and citrusy bouquet. Enchanting since 1533, it is Santa Maria Novella's oldest fragrance.
Olfactory Notes: Fresh citrus
Top: Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, Neroli
Middle: lavender, rosemary
Base: oriental sweet notes
