Founded in Paris in 1827, the fan house of Duvelleroy has a long history of making fans, including for various courts, starting with Queen Victoria in the 1850’s.
Today the Maison conveys the traditional French fan-making savoir-faire in Couture hand-fans, whilst embracing the taste of today’s times through Prêt-à-porter (ready to wear) hand-fans, using wood from sycamore trees, and silk-screen printed cotton cloth, which is stiffened, hand-pleated and assembled to the frame.
