The Istituto Fotocromo Italian was founded in Florence in 1928 by the engineer Vincenzo Balocchi, a well known amateur photographer and former artistic director of the Fratelli Alinari Company.
Up until 1980, the Company printed artistic editions in the old traditional method of photo-typeset or collotypes, but now use the most modern and sophisticated printing methods.
The Istituto Fotocromo Italiano is led by the same family and is now in its third generation.
These beautiful images look great framed or block mounted as posters, or can be used in any creative art work, and measure 50 cm x 70 cm.
